Hello,

I can understand your concern. Upper tooth pain can sometimes be felt in head as a referred pain. However, no direct vein, artery or nerve is connecting the tooth and brain so any treatment related to tooth cannot cause any brain damage.

Also, how many teeth can be removed in an appointment is up to the dentist and the patient. There is no boundary to how many teeth can be removed and removal of one or many teeth at the same time cannot cause the pain you are suffering from.

For your case, it might be possible that you are having persistent infection in the tooth you ate going through for root canal. Alternatively, an infected root piece might have been left behind while extracting the tooth which might cause the infection.

If you do not trust the treatment of your current dentist, you can visit an Endodontist for evaluation of the oral cavity. Endodontists are experts in root canal treatments and can also advise you regarding the healing of the extraction sites. In addition, you can try Nimesulide + Serratiopeptidase combination (SN-15) for pain relief.

I hope this answer guides you well. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel painfree soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
