How To Treat Knee Injury?

I have pain on the lower outside area of my knee after slipping down a step and landing on it awkwardly and hard. At the time I did this (1 week ago) my knee was very unstable and had a sort of a wobble inside it when I walked. It is constantly aching and now extremely sore to touch. It also feels quite hard now although has not had much swelling that I can see.

Hello.

The instability may be from a torn cruciate ligament in your knee or a fracture of your tibial plateau so I suggest you see a doctor for an exam and for x-rays and an MRI scan of your knee
