Hi dear ,

The symptoms you mentionin query are pointing towards infectious condition . As per your query the incisive papilla got hurt while cleaning , then it could be possible that some foreign body went inside the cut during cleaning , which is doing infection again and again . I would suggest you to consult oral surgeon without any delay ,because the infection can spread further through the roof of the mouth to the sinuses and make condition complicated . Doctor may take X-ray and give small incision to the papilla and remove the foreign particle and prescribe antibiotics .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have traumatized the Incissive Papilla during cleaning due to which there is inflammation of the soft tissue leading to irritation and it must be getting a continuous irritation due to eating as you must be eating even hard,ho and spicy foods too..
You should do cold compress over it or suck ice pops..
Take a soft and bland diet and avoid biting hard with front teeth as well as till the irritation is over do not eat very hard and sharp things like chips etc..
Apply Kenalog in Orabase ointment as it will help in numbing the region as well as the steroid in it will help in reducing irritation..
Maintain a good oral hygiene and use alcohol free mouthwashes..
If still not relieved a short course of steroid like Prednisone twice daily can help..

Hope this information helps..
