How To Treat Intense Pain On Left Side Of Neck Caused Due To Broken Blood Vessel?
My husband turned his head quickly and said he felt what seemed to be a vein or blood vessel pop followed by a stabbing pain. There is no redness or swelling, but a throbbing pain on the left side of his neck. His temples hurt for a minute or two and then that went away. He had felt fatigued and easily became out of breath earlier in the day. Any ideas what this could be?

From history it seems that due to sudden turning of neck might have produced strain and spasm of neck muscles giving rise severe neck pain and stiffness.
Take analgesic medicine like ibuprofen along with some muscle relaxant medicine for 2-3 days.
Apply some analgesic cream locally.
give rest to neck muscles.
Ok and take care.
