How To Treat Hypothyroidism?

i suffered from hypo thyroid .i had been taking thyronorm25mcg .nw it is under control but recent blood reports show that my tsh has increased to be 6.my esr level has gone up to be 44.it is very surprisin because though i suffer from anaemia and rhynitis never in my life my esr level been so high.i am 42 year old woman.my height is 5 ft 2 inches and my weight is 60 kg.kindly advise

Hello,
O read carefully your concerns and understood your query.
You should raise the dose of levothyroxine from 25 mcg to 50 mcg and check the TSH level after 6 weeks.
If it results within the normal ranges continue with the dose 50 mcg for other 6 months.
Hypothyroidism is not the cause of high ESR.
A proteine C reactive and full blood count are needed too.
