How To Treat Hyperventilation Causing Sharp Pain In Back And Chest?

My 16 year old daughter, get s very sharp stabbing pains in her back, that go through into her heart, causing her heart to beat extremely fast. She knows when it is getting ready to start, her hands will go numb, and her body feels like jello. It usually makes her feel sick to get stomach ( nausea). She us unable to breath, says she feels like she can only take tiny breaths, cause air can t get into her belly, she says it feels like she has an elephant sitting on her chest. Every EKG comes back normal, blood work normal, ultra sound, normal. She s worn and is wearing a heart monitor, it to has come back normal. Her last episode, she actually stopped breathing for about 6 seconds, and was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with hyperventilation.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, first thing you need to do is to get done the ECHO to rule out the congenital heart disease if this is normal one then symptom could be functional one, hysteria needs to be ruled out, else this is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
