How To Treat Hemochromatosis,factor V Leiden,f.p.o.and Multi T.I.A S?

I already know that I have the following...Hemochromatosis, Factor v leiden, I have f.p.o. and I have already had multi T.I.A s so I guess my question is what can I do, I already know most people do not have all this in one person, but I do. I have already been to Oncologists. They say I am a rare one.

Greetings from health care magic!!! I am Dr Thakker and shall be answering your question.

I can certainly understand your concern. you indeed are having a rare combination of hemochromatosis and factor v leiden mutation.

I would recommend the following:

1) Hemochromatosis: one needs repeated phlebotomy to keep the hb below 15 n decrease the iron stores.

2) Factor v leiden mutation: this is a genetic disorder and there is no genetherpay available for it currently. I would recommend you to take aspiring and clopidogrel all through your life. they are blood thinners and will reduce the frequent TIA episodes.
