my husband is 49 years old he has copd, diabeties, asthma, a stint in an artery in his heart. right now he is in the hospital suffering from a heat stroke. he has not eaten or drank in 5 days and has lost 17 pounds. they had to put a tube down his nose to help depress his stomach. he keeps telling me he feels like he is dying is he

I really appreciate your concern, if your husband is already in hospital then he would be taken great nursing care, with the right treatment he would be fine soon, in such medical condition loss of weight is very common, you can take care for feeding tube as long as diet is concern, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
