Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Can you send a picture? For boils I used to prefer Amoxycillin or Amoxyclav for 5-7 days. Cephalexin or Cefadroxil also are good options. If lesions are open, applying an antibiotic ointment like Mupirocin will hasten recovery. Meanwhile, keep the area clean and dry.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
