If you didn't really feel dazed or disoriented at the time of the SMACK and there was no nausea/vomiting or extreme lethargy or fatigue then, the worst you probably did is SMACK your head REALLY HARD. In other words, it is unlikely that you suffered a concussion. So there's no need to head the ER for sure. If, however, you are developing what could be interpreted as headaches then, you definitely are suffering from some post-traumatic headaches which could take several days, several weeks, or several months to resolve. You might try just some light amount of Tylenol or Motrin a couple of times daily for a few days (no more than that) to see if the pain calms down. You can also use a warm compress over the area which usually soothes most people. If it's more complicated than that or the headaches develop into anything more funky or weird or strange then, I would seek out a neurologist or headache specialist and see what the best course of action might be.

I hope you get better soon....those kinds of hits are annoying.....are more for the fact, that you realize that you were the "yahoo" that did it to yourself, right?

HAHA!
