Hi Doctor, I am sandeep, age 21 and i am a software engineer.i felt that my hair is getting thinner day by day and consulted a dermatologist.he told that i am in the grade1 stage and gave me grocapix gel and logihair capsules.can i get any satisfactory results with those medicines mentioned above?
Hi there Sandeep. A dermatologist appears to have assessed you & given you what in his experience is the relevant medicine. How long ago was this? It depends on how long you have given these medicaments a chance to act. Hair issues are tricky & take their time to resolve. Personally I favour the gold standard of 2%Minoxidil in addition to or/& as a first line of management in alopecia (hair loss) but then again depends on the type of alopecia. Please feel free to get a second opinion to put your mind at ease & you may use this HCM site to get to either me (if in Bangalore) or any other dermatologist/trichologist of your choice near you. Best regards & wish you a full head of hair~ Dr Praveen Rodrigues MD
