Advice required for Grade II Astrocytoma in Insular region of Brain.
Hi Doctor, I will be grateful just hoping that if may be you can answer/clarify few of my questions regarding Grade II Astrocytoma in Insular region of Brain. Few day's back I just fell down having seizure .After that an MRI Scan & MRI with contrast, spectroscopy & tactography test was done to my brain .The report suggested an appreance of mass in the brain in Insular region of tempero frontal of my brain but were unable diagnosis what the mass was exactly? Then I was advised to undergo an neuro-surgery & I have already been operated recently 14 days back.But my major concern is though my operation had been completed as per my surgeon they had removed only 70% of the mass leaving 30% saying couldn't be as I had highly vascular blood vessel's which could have led to other complications. My biopsy report revealed of Grade II Astrocytoma. Now the surgeon has advised me to go through radio-therapy treatment to get it completely cured now about 1 inch approx of mass is left. Now I would request you to advice me for my further course of action or the treatment that is to be done in future. Waiting for your early response.
