How To Treat For Bowel Impaction In Home?

I have a bowl impaction I have been trying to break it up to get it out. But it is almost like clay can only just scrap the edge then it goes back up to far to reach and turns. Can I do anything at home to get it out? I have the urge to go but very painful when I try.

Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.

You need to soften your stool by taking enough fluids and high fibre food. Also laxative or rectal suppositoriums should be used such as glycerine, dulcolax or rectal enema if this would not be enough. If there is no improvement, you shoud seek medical attention for further treatment.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
