How To Treat Diarrhea And Vomiting In An Elderly Male?
A 60 year old man he suffer from diarhea and vomiting at the same time he collapse . He is sweating but chilling atsame time too and hardly to come up. Hehas been this two time already thesame illness. The firsttime was last August and second time just yesterday Octber 26. Is this very serious sickness?

Diarrhea and vomiting can be due to various reasons hence needs to be investigated, also complaint of patient collapsing might indicate low blood pressure.
During vomiting and diarrhea a person looses water, nutrients and electrolytes. Which causes severe dehydration and patient may go into hypovolemia and metabolic disturbances.
Kindly get investigations like Complete blood count ,Blood Sugar, Electrolytes, Urine and Stool analysis to rule out infections, identify organism or parasites.
Vomiting and diarrhea can be controlled with anti-diarrheal and anti-emetic medications. Patient also needs antibiotic course if diagnosed with infection.
