Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries I can understand your concern. As your anxiety is persisting even while you are on Sertraline and Xanax so in my opinion there is need for re-evaluation. As sertraline is not working so either some other SSRI drug can be used like Paroxetine, Fluoxetine or some other drug like Bupropion can be added to prescription to augment the actions of sertraline. Xanax can be used on SOS basis till you get relief. Apart from medicines psychological treatment like CBT or cognitive behaviour therapy along with relaxation exercise helps to reduce the symptoms of anxiety. Progressive muscle relaxation exercises, yoga, breathing exercises etc are commonly used drugs and are very useful. Please visit your doctor for help. Thanks, I hope this helps you.
