How To Treat Dark Grey Color Near The Butt In An Infant?

3 days ago my 8 month old took a spill off the bed and landed in the crawling position. It seems like her nose to most of the impact. She was checked over and all appears well. She was upset for a few minutes but then recovered well with smiles. She is eating and sleeping normally. And is also playing and acting normally. Today however, when i was changing her diaper her BM was a dark grey color and i am wondering if this is a sign of internal bleeding? She did have a lot of rice cereal with banana in it yesterday.

Hi...by what you quote I feel that it could have been a mongolian spot. I do not this is related to the injury which she sustained.

First be reassured that your kid is normal. I will suggest you danger signs of head injury -
1. Vomiting continuously
2. Seizures
3. Watery of bloody discharge from ears and nose
4. Unconsciousness
5. Altered sensorium or behaviour.
If none of them are present, I don't think you should worry about his trivial head injury.
