How To Treat Dark Discolouration Of Foot And Leg Due To Broken Metatarsals?

I broke 3 and 4 metatarsals 4 weeks ago and it seems to be healing all right, but my foot and leg look dark red/purple when down- I notice this in the morning when i get up. Is this normal? It swells when down for the day, though not dramatically.Thank you

HI
Well come to HCM
If this was due to injury then such appearance is likely and this could be due to soft tissue inflammation and bleeding, of course this is not normal but this is consequences of injury, condition need to be kept under observation for any complication and most common would be infection, hope this information helps, take care.
