How To Treat Cough And How It Will Affect Pneumonia?
I have pneumonia and my rib is sore and so are my muscles. I am on pain meds and they help but the pain is still there enough that I have a hard time getting a good productive cough to get up the phlem. Should I use ice or heat and how will it affect my pneumonia?

more than ice or heat, you should try chest physiotherapy, that will ease the pain and help remove the sputum!
you can apply heat, it will also help, but it is not as effective as the physiotherapy!
