After having done 2 Fleet enemas yesterday and drinking 10 oz of magnesium citrate, I got almost no relief.I took a stool softener as well. All per doctor s orders. This morning I took another stool softener and this afternoon did another Fleet enema. Almost no relief still. Any suggestions?

Hello,

You may need to make some diet modifications (a lot of fruits and vegetables against constipation like oranges, kiwi, watermelon, cherries, pears) and avoid fast food, bananas, apples, which are known to trigger constipation. You should try to eat more soups and take regularly psyllium or lactulose solution to help prevent constipation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
