General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The commonest causes for clogged ear with the history you have mentioned are as follows:
- Fluid development in the middle ear.
- Wax.
- Fungal ball.
- Congested ear drum.
- Secondary to changes at the back of nose from where the Eustachian tube supply air to the middle ear.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult your ENT Surgeon again for proper clinical evaluation.
- Insist for oral medicines like anti-inflammatory and decongestant.
- Stop instilling anything in ear if there is no fungus or wax.
- Do not clean yourself.
- Do not blow nose.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
