How To Treat Chocking Sensation In Throat Caused After Eating Food?
LATELY, I HAVE HAD MANY INCIDENTS OF CHOKING ON VERY SMALL AMOUNTS OF FOOD OR WATER.TODAY, A PIECE OF CRACKER THE SIZE OF A NICKEL LODGED IN MY THROAT, AND I REALLY HAD THE SENSATION THAT I WOULD CHOKE TO DEATH... I HAVE NO SOFT PALATE OR UVULA... COULD THAT BE CONTRIBUTING TO THIS FRIGHTENING SCENARIO?
The lack of the soft palate and uvula would contribute to the choking sensation that you are experiencing.
It may be best however to see an ENT doctor if the choking continues for assessment of the throat. This would be able to determine if there are any other contributing causes.
I hope this helps
