How To Treat Bump Caused Due To Tattooing?

I resently got a tattoo from a home tattoo artist and its been about two weeks and i noticed a bump in between the tattoo i just thought is was a pimple but now it huge and has filled w/ pus and i poped it and drained all the pus i think out but its still huge and red what should i do?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a pus draining bump at the site of tattooing seems most probably be due to causes like abscess that has started draining..

It occurs most commonly due to hairfollicle infection while other causes can be infected gland in the area or infection in the skin leading to pus formation under the skin..

I would suggest you to consult a General surgeon or you can even see a general physician and get evaluated.
He can advise you a course of antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkiller and topical application of antibiotic, steroid and numbing ointment..

If it does not improve or start worsening then Incision and Drainage can help in faster resolution..
