How To Treat Breathlessness And Vomiting Caused During Cold During Children?

Hi, My son is 2 year old and he is snoring all the time(day and night) from long time. not sure if he is facing difficulty in breathing also. we observed this snoring and breathing issue mostly when he has cold. He also vomits if he cries all the time. Though he is facing this we never observed any issue in his daily routine. he is very active and plays well. we have consulted pediatrician and also ENT specialists and they prescribed Sinarest-PD and Sinarest-AF. I heard from doctors that this issue common in children. Please advise if you for see any issues.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have breathlessness and vomiting caused during cold in your children . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like bronchitis , epiglotitis , asthma , allergy reaction or viral pharyngitis . These symptoms are common among children during cold . I would suggest you to give your child proper medicine as per prescription , apply warm compresses on his neck , try to make him warm water with a spoon of honey and try to sleep on side . If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult doctor again for proper examination and rule out other conditions .
