How To Treat Bleeding And Black Circular Mark In Fingernail?
Hey I need to ask you something I was getting out of the car today and I jammed my pinky finger in the door, it was really painful but I took some paracetamol. I think when I jammed my finger in the door it was pushed back into my skin and It had filled uo with blood! When I got home I tried removing the blood by heating a thin metal piece and trying to melt it through my fingernail to release pressure and blood, unfortunately I just decided to stop as it was talking too long! So now I am here with a black circle mark in my fingernail and it bleeding and sore! What shall I do?
Hello, I can understand your concern. Kindly never do the procedure what you have done at home,it might lead to infections and unnecessary complications. I suggest you to tie a sterile guaze bandage to prevent bleeding. Kindly consult a doctor as soon as pissible so that the procedure to drain the blood is done under sterile conditions. You will be given a short course of antibiotic to prevent infection and an anti inflammatory drug like aceclofenac to reduce the inflammation. This should be sufficient along with sterile dressing. Hope this informarion is useful. Thanks for consulting HCM
