I can see the legs on one that is black, another was more of a dark gray and I could see legs and tiny wings (using a magnifying glass for each) There were others floathing. About a month ago I had itching around my anus, and today my stools were loose, and I found the bugs.

Hello,

You can apply Anometrogyl ointment around the anal opening for symptomatic relief.

Antihelminth drugs like albendazole may be started empirically. A microscopic examination of the stool is required to find out the type of organism.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
