Have pain on the outside of my ear from damage to greater auricualr nerve, and a dropped jaw on the same side. They say it is TMJ, but the dental night guard which is crooked like the jaw, is making is worst and weakening the facial muscles. Right side of face is drooping. What kind of doctor would evaluate this? and would steroid shots for the nerves hellllllllllllllp?
I would advice you to take a consultation with a Oral and Maxillo facial surgeon ,who will do the right examination and treatment for your mentioned problem. It is not clear why a night guard is given to you.
Get a re checkup done and proceed with the treatment.
Thanks and regards.
