How To Treat Anal And Vaginal Itch In A 3 Years Old Child?

My 3 y/o daughter has been itching her bottom a lot since a couple of months, she also itches her vagina, but not so much as she itches her anus. I haven't seen her pass worms in her stools, and she does not seem to be in any pain...just discomfort whenever she feels itchy? Should I go ahead and de-worm her? What OTC medication is recommended?

thanks and welcome to HCM .
You history suggests that your daughter is suffering from threadworms infection .
The drug of choice is ivermectin as single dose and to reat after one week if the woms persist.
Mebendazole twice daily for 3 days is another alternative .
Personal hygiene is more important.
All the members of the family to be treated simultaneously .
