General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I have read your history carefully.
The lump on your forehead may be a lipoma (which is a benign tumor of fat cells), sebaceous cyst or a dermoid cyst.
You have not exactly mentioned the location of the cyst.
It can not be related to oiliness of your skin.
It can be easily removed by a minor surgical procedure. I would advise you to consult a good surgeon. He will be definitely able to resolve your problem.
Hope this will be helpful.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Take care.
I find this answer helpful
