Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a smal lump on my forehead and when i push it with my finger, in moves around. Its painless and had been on my forehead for more than a year i think, I don t remeber when i got it exactly. Also i have oily skin.. Is my oily skin the cause ? I am 22 year old female.
Hello, Welcome to HCM. I have read your history carefully. The lump on your forehead may be a lipoma (which is a benign tumor of fat cells), sebaceous cyst or a dermoid cyst. You have not exactly mentioned the location of the cyst. It can not be related to oiliness of your skin. It can be easily removed by a minor surgical procedure. I would advise you to consult a good surgeon. He will be definitely able to resolve your problem. Hope this will be helpful. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Take care.
