How To Treat A Sensitive Buttocks?

Hi there, I fell on my buttocks over a month ago, and a large indentation has formed. It has gotten slightly better but hasn t changed much in the past few weeks.do I need to see a specialist? It doesn t really hurt - it s just irritating for me personally when trying on clothes because I ve become very insecure about it. Help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi there,

If bruising and swelling has occurred during the falling, and they persist even one month after fall, I advise to see your doctor for further evaluation.

If I was your caring doctor would advise to do an X-ray of the pelvic area in order to rule out bone problems.

If everything is ok, then, no need to worry as it is due to falling. Perhaps you did not apply ice or cold clothing for at least 2 days after the falling.

Wish fast recovery!
