How To Treat A Large Stone From Left Ureter?

i have a stone of 12 mm in my left ureter i have feel pain twice but now i am ok, i am a chronic stone passer and this is first time i have stone of such big size and doctor who has done my ultra sound, was not a urologist, advised me to go for quick treatment for this stone. what should i do, furthermore i have also consulted a urologist and he has advised me to take medicines and to drink less water to avoid pain what's ur suggestion.

Hi, ureteric stones of size 12mm is difficult to pass out.
Treating with only medications will not provide god outcome.
You have not mentioned type and position of the stone now, as higher the stone, difficult to pass out.
I am of the opinion that you consult urologist immediately and get the complete work up done with him.
Getting an intervention at an early stage will help a lot.
