How To Treat A Gum Abscess Caused After Tooth Removal?

7 DAYS AGO I HAD A TOOTH EXTRACTED RIGHT SIDE LOWER. SOCKET IS HEALING FINE. 3 DAYS LATER I DEVELOPED LARGE AMOUNT OF PAIN AND SWELLING UNDERNEATH MY CHIN. AREA IS HARD AND TENDER TO TOUCH. WENT TO URGENT CARE CENTER AND A CT OF THE SOFT TISSUE REVEALED A 2 CM ABCESS. IS THERE TREATMENT AVAILABLE WITH OUT SURGERY?

I think you developed peri odental abscess. After tooth extraction have you on any antibiotics?

Okay, try this medication for 5 days if not subsided better go for opening. Tab. Ranitidine 150 mg before food, Tab. Ibubrufen 400 mg, Tab. Chymurol forte 1 and Tab. Cipro 500 mg.
