How To Treat A Growing Stye On The Lower Eye Lid?

I have had a stye on my lower lid for over a week. I have been using warm washclothes for compresses several times a day. I look outside and inside my eyelid and there is no head to it. It keeps getting bigger and more painful. Should I go see my family doctor or who else?
