How To Treat Chalazion(stye) After It S Popped?

What do I do after my chalazion(stye) is popped? I have a penut M & M size chalazion on the lower eyelid of my right eye. I went to an opthamologist and she told me to do warm compresses 4 times a day. Before I went to the doctor, I did a couple warm compresses and I stopped doing it because it just made the chalazion bigger. The doctor told me I should still do it so I did it 4 times a day for a week and it finally popped where there was a little white head. I wiped with q-tips and the chalazion is about 1/3 size now but it s still not gone. Should I keep doing warm compresses until it s gone? I have oral antibiotics and eye drops the doctor prescribed and I m using them also. I had a small chalazion about 2 years ago and it just disappeared in about 4 months without popping. But the chalazion I had was about 5 times bigger.

Use oral antibiotics and eye drops as prescribed by ophthalmologist. Continue with warm compresses. You need to use eye drops for longer time.If you have dandruff , take treatment for it.
