Young daughter with CVID had a lung biopsy, history of chronic cough and rattles in lung. Has not responded to oral steroids, antibiotics or albuterol. Biopsy came back with cells high inflammation and high lipid macrophages. Bacterial and fungal cultures still negative. Rest pending with lab still. The things that are positive seem non specific, so finding cause is still there..what are possibilities?

This syndrome is mainly treated with IVIG(Intravenous immunoglobulin). IVIG is a blood product that contains polyvalent immunoglobulin.
You can find this product with a lot of trade names, one is Gamunex.
The dosage of IVIG is 100-400mg/kg of body weight. It is implemented every 3-4 weeks.
*You have to contact an immunologist.
