How To Test Thrush In Mouth While Having Redness In Roof Of Mouth?

I have been taking benadryl for the past 3 years going through I.V.I.G treatment , for 2 years. Since last year I still continue take benadrly every night for my allergy. Last May I had spinal surgery and developed for the first time thrush in my mouth, and was treated with Nystatin. In sept I had a tooth implant and was on z pack for five days, develop thrush again , was treated, but there is a very small area on my upper chick inside my mouth still is a little pink. I am seeing an E.N.T next Monday. could it be some thrush or something else.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a small pink area inside the cheek can be an inflamed area secondary to either side effect of medicine or Dry mouth caused due to anti- allergics like Benadryl..
It does not seems like thrush and you should get evalyuated by an oral physician so that he can give a confirmatory diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
As of now you can apply a numbing gel if there is pain and soreness..
Take multivitamins..
Avoid spicy and hard foods..
Drink plenty of water and suck ice pops..
Maintain a good oral hygiene..
