How To Terminate The Pregnancy While On Warfarin?

I m on 8-9mgs of warfarin daily & just found out that I m 5 weeks pregnant. I have acute embolism & don t want to have an abortion. I have many fears due to my already messed up health, internal bleeding being #1. Can I safely take the abortion pill while still on warfarin? What s the safest way to terminate? I m 42 years old. Thanks.

I agree with you that it is not advisable to continue your pregnancy while on warfarin as it can cause developmental defects in the foetus. Since you are only five weeks into your pregnancy you can go for a medical abortion.
