How To Take Care Of Heart Patient With Stents Placed On Left Side?

Hi Dr. Arun,My mom has 3 blockage on her right artery. one is 100% another one is 50% last one is 85%... she already has 4 stent placed on her left side all looks fine. This angiogram was done in India on Jan. 2014.They said they could not open the 100% one put her on angiospan...She was already on plavix, asprin and crestor. she is 77 old. with diabetes. i just want to know how to take care of her at home in USA.Thank you LIZ

I think you are on the right medications.Just dont let her exert too much but she can do her daily activities as tolerated.Keep a healthy diet and lifestyle is the best treatment.Low cholesterol, sugars, more of fresh fruits and veg.
