Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query symptoms such as swollen lump behind ear are pointing towards a condition known as lymphadenopathy . This occur due to swelling in lymph nodes behind the ears. It could be due to infection of hair follicle. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist or surgeon for proper examination. Doctor may order blood test ,CT scan or MRI to confirm the diagnosis and to rule out condition like cancer. Apply warm compresses several times a day and do not prick them. You should takeantibiotic like Amoxicillin and clavulinic acid along with pain killer and anti-inflammatory medicines for 5 days .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
