How To Stop My Daughter S Vomiting?

My daughter has been vomiting for about 7 hours now and every drink of any fluid (Gatorade, water, kool aid, ginger ale but nothing has stayed down. My problem is that she wants me to take her on to the emergency room and I don t feel it is necessary at this time. She doesn t realize this, but our insurance wants $350.00 just to walk in the door. If she needs to go I will take her without hesitation but as I grew up my parents wouldn t even take us to the Dr. if we weren t bleeding or dying. What do you suggest I do?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Apart from your financial commitments and you past experience with your parents, if your daughter is vomiting continuously for the past 7 hours, she may develop dehydration and hypochloremic alkalosis.
It is wise to take her to ER at your earliest convenience.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
