How To Remove Pizza Stuck In Throat?

My fiance was eating pizza and now feels like he has a piece of it lodged in his throat. He is now experiencing odynophagia, but it is not interfering with his ability to breath. It is causing him significant discomfort, and we don t know how to get it out.

Hello dear user. Welcome to HCM!

Well things may be stuck in the throat, it generally happens with the fish needles but also with other tough foods.

If you can see where is the stuck pizza and you can reach it you may carefully take it off from the throat.

But if you can't reach go to the ER and let the doctor help you with that because he has appropriate instruments to remove that.

Take care and best wishes!
