General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

Dengue is a self limiting viral infection. Only a small percentage of patients develop complications and have serious problems because of it.

So my advice to you is not to worry too much about the liver enzyme values now. They should recover in two to four weeks time and if you do not have fever or jaundice, it is unlikely to be of much significance. You will have some amount of weakness following the illness, which will also recover spontaneously in 7 to 10 days. You can also take multi vitamin tablets.

Hope I answered your question.
