How To Reduce The Intensity And Frequency Of Chronic Migraine?

hi my mother is suffering from chronic migrane headaches fro the past 25 years. She is 53 years now. Could you please suggest a medicine for reducing the intensity and frequency of pains?? She uses nimadol tablets which have caused many side effects like gastric trouble and many others.

Hi , chronic migraine headache should be treated with diet , lifestyle changes and medicines to prevent attacks.
Fasting and high tyramine foods like cheese chocolate shoul be avoided.
Stress and anxiety should be treated.
Stress relieving yoga and pranayam should be started .
Medicines to prevent the attacks are propanolol, topiramate, divalproex and flunarizine .
All these can reduce the intensity and frequency of attacks.
