Im male 28yrs old. My wife is 24yrs. We are married since 1yr. We have tried to have sex so many times. My wife had hymenectomy 4mnths before. Even after that she is having excessive pain during intercourse. We tried applying lubic gel, but in vain. We never had complete penetration yet. Can u suggest a solution?
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
I understand that you and your wife are having problems in your sexual relationship. Now, pain during sexual intercourse is called dyspareunia and can be due to a variety of causes - like vaginismus, pelvic infections, psychological problems, etc.
The first step in the management of this problem is to have a complete evaluation to identify a cause. Only if the correct cause is identified, appropraite management can be advised. So I would suggest that you take her to a gynecologist for a detailed evaluation and further management.
