How To Reduce Itching Around The Vagina?

Hi. I developed an itch around my vagina after having intercourse on my 5th day last Sunday. The itch has increased coupled with a white curd like discharge and the area next to the clitoris has swollen up entirely. I took a couple of fluka 150 as the symptoms suggest an yeast infection. Can you suggest a cream i could apply in the said area?

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. Itching around vagina seems to be due to fungal infection and infection of outside hair follicle. Need not to worry. i would suggest you to start with vaginal Candid Pessary and keep it daily one for 5-7 consecutive days. Keep area dry after washing with lukewarm water. Apply mycoderm cream. Visit dermatologist once if symptoms keeps on persisting and start treatment acordingly.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best wishes,
Dr. Harry
