How To Recover From A Stroke?

My friend had a stroke 2 yrs. ago. She thinks she will get back to normal without increasing her physical activity. She has always been sedentary. I have been encouraging her to walk everyday for increasing amounts of time and have told her that she is more likely to recover if she continues to walk more and more. Who is right.

hi sir/madam,i'm impressed with your concern for your friend.recovery from stroke takes time.of course sedentary life style wont help in anyway.the extent of upper extremity involvement decides the degree of recovery from stroke.physiotherapy options are many and also promising recovery is noted in many of my patients.so,what i like to suggest is to quit sedentary life style.you are right in encouraging her to ambulate.hope i have given you a satisfactory reply.if any further queries,i'm happy to attend.take care.bye.
