How To Overcome The Pain In The Lower Back After A Fall?

Hello! I am 25 years old, I have mild scoliosis. I am experiencing mild-moderate pain on lower back when lying flat on the floor. I find it hard to get up of bed I need to move sideways to avoid the pain. What whould I do? The pain usually attacks when I did some heavy chores in the morning. Prior to this I had an accident, I slip off the floor and landed my butt on a wooden floor. I didn t have it check until now.

Hi,

Mechanical lower back pain is very common. There is no magic bullet to take the pain away. The treatment is with anti-inflammatory medication, antispasmodic medication, heat, physiotherapy for core strenghthening and flexibility and massage. If you develop leg pain or any urinary or bowel disturbance you should see your physician who may order an MRI scan although if the symptoms are typical then this is often not required.

I hope this information helps

Best wishes
