How To Overcome The Pain In My Groin Area?

this is regarding my 91 year sister, who said her cat jumped on her thigh and has had a painful groin area since. She has been to emergency twice and the last visit said it was arthristis. Each time they gave her a shot, but her pain has increase and now can only get around painfully with a walker.

Hi,
After going through the clinical history provided, I am of the opinion that further investigation is necessary for confirmation.
You need to get an X-ray of the hip joint for confirmation of arthritis. Looking at the symptom, its a high possibility.
Therapy includes surgical care and protective palliative therapy.
Surgical procedure includes hip replacement surgery. It has good prognosis unlike knee replacement surgery.
Palliative therapy includes, muscle strengthening through resistance exercises, improving mobility, heat therapy, and physiotherapy.
NSAIDS can be taken to reduce pain
Any further queries, happy to help again.
