Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi there.
I hear your complaint & empathise with you.
Having keloids is not a fun thing especially if symptomatic.
I do gather that they may have become secondarily infected from your history.
Do use an antibiotic eg Metronidazole 400mg tabs three times daily for around 5 days with a similar dose of Brufen both post meals to help decrease the swelling & infection.
At a later date, I recommend a steroid-antibiotic combination cream eg Diprovate-G or Tenovate-G that will help you.
Also an Intralesional injection of steroids in competent hands' works beautifully albeit a touch painful.
If in Bangalore, please feel free to drop into Vikram or Sita Bhateja hospitals' for an evaluation & can take it from there.
Good Luck & Best wishes.
