How To Manage The Pain Caused By C-reactive Protein (CRP) In Foot?

Hi, I have had crps in my right foot for almost 3 years and can't have anything touch it at all. I wondered if there is anything out there besides nerve blocks to help with pain. Also if there are any kind of foot coverings for going outdoors to my appointments without having a bare exposed foot. Remembering of course that nothing can touch the top of it.
Thanks,
Sonia

Hello,

There is no cure. All treatment methods are aimed at relief of symptoms. There are no special covering devices.
If the sympathetic nerve block is not helping than I would advice my patient to consider more invasive treatment like surgical sympathetomy, intrathecal pump infusion or spinal cord stimulation.
