How To Lose Weight?

I have been working out and trying to lose weight. I ve been keeping my calories around 1600 a day on average. I have not lost any weight at all and I ve been working out since March. I believe I have a lot of inflammation. Could this be a barrier in losing weight?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you may choose better the food you are eating. You can use more proteins in your diet fewer carbohydrates and fats.
Try to choose better white meat found in chicken breast, fish etc than red meat.
Don't eat pure sugar but can use fruits. Eat fresh vegetables and mainly green leaves.
Limit wheat and sugar intake and alcohol consumption.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
